Visit of Les Amis de Chichester

At the end of April, we welcomed 30 guests from our twin city, Chartres. The visit began with a dose of British rain, but before long the sun came out and we had glorious weather for the rest of the weekend. Guided tours of the Tangmere Aviation Museum and the historic town of Lewes were arranged, and a superb dinner laid on at The Walnut Tree at Runcton. The visit ended with a bring and share supper at the Fishbourne Centre and the chance for some Anglo-French rivalry at skittles. We look forward to our return visit to Chartres in May 2024.
